The base will celebrate the Trump/Schumer Single Payer Act of 2018.

I think Dems play the long game better than Republicans. In the last ten years, they’ve lost a ton of seats but completely moved the conversation of healthcare, gay rights, and a host of other issues far to the Left.

We are now debating over how big the Medicaid expansion needs to be and whether Transgenders should get their surgeries paid by the government.

This was not the debate in 2007.

I’m a Conservative. The last thing I want is Progress.

I want regression.

Your Republicans could put an end to it tomorrow.

It’s easy, so easy as to make one wonder why they don’t.

All they have to do is support the POTUS agenda, in word, vote and deed.

At LEAST some of it.

Confirm all his nominees and hires.
Defund Mueller.
Fund the wall.
Overturn Obamacare.
Tax Reform.

Become cheerleaders for those things they can support, and shut up on those they cannot. Don’t obstruct.

the issue for the Republicans is that Trump pulled out of the trade deals, wants to close the border and pulled out of the Paris Accord.

The “sponsors” of Republicans see that as losing trillions of dollars. Therefore, no Republican can support Trump’s agenda and expect any campaign money. Not a single red cent.

Sadly, Wisconsin local talk radio did their best to delegitimatize Nehlen. There were even Wisconsin Freepers here who preferred Ryan! Very sad!

They are going to give Trump a few miles of really strong fencing and some drones for Dreamer Amnesty (IE the creation of 10 million Democratic voters in the next 20 years).

They may throw him some bones on tax reform, but that Bannon dream of raising the top tax rate into the 40s is back on the table.

Let’s keep it adult. If you didn’t vote for Obama it seems odd you play into the DNC rat trap. The DNC is shredding their opposition and that includes you and your allies. This is how they always win and get their way. Don’t you get it?

For the record, I did vote for Trump and I supported Cruz in the primaries. After this deal that Trump made with Schumer and the Piglouse, I went the right way. You have cast yourself as a fanatical Trump supporter and it wouldn’t matter what action Trump would take, would it?

The political truth is that the GOP made deals with President Hussein all the time by virtue of rolling over and playing dead x 8 years.

The Dems play the long game because they never stop fighting. “True Conservatives”, OTOH, are happy to run up the white flag after only a few months.

Where is conservative lion Ted Cruz these days? Not on the Senate floor calling out McConnell for being a “liar” for not repealing obamacare “root and branch” and demanding the government be shut down until the wall is funded, etc. Apparently, McConnell is only a “liar” when Saint Rafael of Goldman is running for POTUS.

We’ve had nothing but garbage coming out of the GOP Congress for 9 months. And you can thank GOP plantation conservatives for their “contributions” to this historic missed opportunity for conservatism.

Three months ago, we all hated the Freedom Caucus for derailing repeal and replace in the House.

The president himself does not want straight repeal. So, if Cruz called out President Trump for his “everyone is going to have great insurance” nonsense, would you support that?

Everyone is to blame for this fiasco - including the president who has promised EVERYTHING regarding healthcare. Everyone being covered with great care and lower costs.

And what if plan B is what the uniparty had in mind all along?

In other words, the uniparty bet that Trump would do deals with democrats if republicans stonewalled him. They want that as the plan pushes Trump towards his natural political liberal propensity, and keeps the uniparty safe.

We saw Trump’s natural “liberal propensity” at Charlottesville. LOL. He was the only one fighting for us while all the “true conservatives” hid under their desks as their supporters were smeared as modern day Nazis.

POTUS is taking the ball away from Ryan & McConnell. If you want more obstruction and garbage from them continue supporting Plan A. That’s not working. Time for something new. What that will be remains to be seen.

History shows us 90% of incumbents will win reelection. The problem is much of the GOP base thinks their guy is great and it’s the other “RINOs” who are the problem.

Let us hope that this was a learned behavior, the result of growing up politically in a permanently gridlocked Congress where everyone else was the fault.

Let us hope that Trump can break that habit by exposing people to their own Congressman's intransigence in supporting their constituents' wishes.

That’s nice. Does POTUS fully support We the People? That’s a better question. We’ve known for years that Schumer and Pelosi want to destroy We the People. That’s been obvious since the early 1990s. Remember? Now we know that McTurtle and Ryno are also worthless ... So what does our servant do? He goes from bad (M/R) to worse (S/P). Nothing good gets accomplished. I don’t care how many bills get passed, or how many get signed into law: if they’re bad, we’re headed in the wrong direction.

Show me one shred of evidence the GOP would support POTUS shutting down the government to pay for the wall. You can’t because they won’t.

You seem to think we’ve elected a king and Trump is free to do what he wants. If POTUS does not govern he will not be reelected. Doing “nothing” is not option at this point. That the beltway GOP is failing “We The People” is 1000% on them. Not Trump. That Trump is adjusting his tactics should be no surprise after nearly a year of GOP failure theater.

Support him and the many Conservative policies he has implemented if you wish. Or vote for a Democrat. I really don’t care.

Trump was not elected b/c of DEMOCRAT principles either! Anyone who is happy that he collaborated with Communists is a fool. There is nothing to celebrate here. We could have gone for Madoff Clinton if we wanted Democrat input!

We’re celebrating that POTUS took the ball away from Ryan & McConnell. Enough GOP failure theater. We’re getting nothing from them and you are on a fools errand thinking that would change following the same path we were on.
