Anthony Weiner says he's turned a corner in his recovery, and he's asking a judge to show leniency when he's sentenced for sending obscene material to a minor.
Weiner fired off the letter to the judge in his case, saying, "I am 345 days off my destructive behaviors and have a daily practice to help me never return to them." Those behaviors include his multiple sexting scandals ... the last of which involved his lewd online communication with a 15-year-old. Weiner pleaded guilty, and will be sentenced Sept. 25.
The letter, obtained by TMZ, contains repeated references to his treatment and deep regret for continually humiliating his wife, Huma Abedin, and crushing her aspirations -- a clear reference to her role as Hillary Clinton's trusted longtime aide.

The judge could give Weiner a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison, although sentencing guidelines recommend 21 to 27 months.

I thoroughly despise Carlos Danger, and yet I am also grateful for his service to our country. He managed single-handed to bend election coverage in the final week of the election. By splashing his actions all over the tabloids, he drew attention to Hillary’s sleaze when America needed that reminder the most. He sucked all the oxygen out of what Hillary hoped would be her weekend to shine. When HRC’s support went limp, Weiner kept her from getting those numbers up again.
I hope the judge will lock the Weiner up for a long time, but I am hoping for a nice, safe cell for this flawed American antihero.

Probably a name change is in the works from Carlos Danger to goodness only know what other bogus name he will come up with. I’m NOT buying his BS that he is a “changed man”.
21-27 months is only a slap on his wrist. What if that 15 year old was YOUR daughter, how would you feel about that sentence?
