NO! The wall is a wall as most of the border doesn’t even have a decent fence. Trump is going to make himself a one term president with this broken promise, especially if he gives amnesty to any illegal aliens. Sad.
I never wanted to see a concrete wall. I do want to see a triple security fence about 20 feet high. From El Paso to San Diego.
Especially if they go ahead with their DACA amnesty. The wall becomes an absolute must.

Trump on a live Fox News broadcast just doubled down on the need for a real wall and serious border security.
Simple solutions are more powerful than complex ones. As a master persuader, Trump knew not to get into minutia about how this section would be a physical wall, this one would better be implemented with a fence, this part could be done electronically. That is weak.
Instead he used the power of simplicity to say “We will build a wall on our southern border” and let everyone visualize what that means in their own mind. No one with a functional brain envisioned the Great Wall of China from sea to shining sea.
His enemies and the media take Trump literally but not seriously. His supporters take Trump seriously but not literally. As long as we have strong border security that includes whatever combination of technologies is appropriate, it will accomplish the goals Trump identified and be supported by the vast majority of those who voted for him.
