These kids are the least of our problems. I’m sure that Trump is getting something in return for this deal. Probably democrat votes for tax reform and the wall.

Bottom line is that these kids didn’t break the law. Their parents did. Giving them work permits makes sense. But no path to citizenship.

Exactly. As mentioned on the radio today, the optics of grabbing these people from their homes, jobs and schools would be bad, but let’s get rid of the criminals.

Personally, I’d give them a path, 10 years at least. 7 for vets or serving. Give them something concrete to work for. Not some unlimited limbo that cost taxpayers (insert current amount). It was a deferred program that was set by idiots who didn’t really want to tackle the problem which left a lot of these kids with no real status with no fault of their own.

Set conditions/work permits as it should be for any type of immigration that is real and tangible, deport those that don’t make the cut.

What about their parents and what about when they have kids. Are those kids citizens? This is a mess and its not ours.

Kids? Really?

Have you fallen for that lie as well as the 800,000 instead of the actual 1.2 million.
Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
Were under the age of 31 as of June 15, 2012; (born on June 16, 19,81 or after)
Came to the United States before reaching your 16th birthday;

There may be a few actual "kids", but the majority are adults.

>these kids didn’t break the law. Their parents did<

I’m tired of the ‘innocent child’ rebuttal to any argument for enforcing our laws. It’s just that this argument is so leftarded.

But, let’s assume that I’m just an insensitive knuckle-dragger. OK, I’ll admit to a lack of compassion and a need to change my attitude.

So, the ‘innocent children’ can stay but how about bringing child abuse charges against their parents? I could go along with that.

Otherwise, get them and their families out of here ASAP.
