Global Warming? Not So Fast Say Scientists!
Powerline ^ | 9/19/19

The climatistas really are a fun and lovable bunch to watch. Also pathetic. They are victims of their own doomsday scenarios of inexorably rising greenhouse gas levels and the parade of horribles soon to follow. The Paris Accord, even if fully implemented, will barely slow any future warming accord to the standard climate orthodoxy (better known as “The Consensus”). That’s why the former NASA chief climatista James Hansen called the Paris Accord “a fraud.”

What do you do when, having told us for more than 20 years that “we only have ten years left” to act, the deadline passes and we haven’t got anywhere close to a pathway to stabilize (let alone reduce) carbon emissions? You change the scenario is what you do.

I believe the Norks are going to solve the problem for us. Nuclear Winter, anyone? Then we’ll have the Sydney accord for Global heating (the Northern Hemisphere being uninhabitable)

Has anyone ever said where carbon fees go? Does all of it end up in Gore’s bank account?

Offer a billion dollars for research into proving man’s activities have no impact on climate change and you’ll start a feeding frenzy.

‘What do you do?’
You call the present weather a climate disaster. Every hurricane is fodder for the beast. Come winter warn of the ‘polar vortex’. A drought? never seem one one so bad before.
Every turn of the weather proves you were right all along.

Seriously/personally I think greenhouse gasses do have an effect. I also think we are overdue for an ice age. Which would be worse?

NASA might beat them too it with their plan to “fix” the Yellowstone volcano.

Science use the scientific method.
Climate “science” uses computer models.
Computer models do not use the scientific method.
Computer models are therefore not science.
Why don’t climate-change fascists believe in science?

Noting that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the corrupt feds the specific power to regulate environmental issues, what many “scientists” undoubtedly know about “global warming” is that it is a politically correct buzzword for winning unconstitutional, unaccountable federal funding.

Remember in November 2018 !

Patriots need to make sure that there are plenty of Trump-supporting candidates on the primary ballots so that patriots can send them to DC on election day 2018.

They should test the model using past, known data. Methinks they would come up wanting.

“Science use the scientific method.”

The scientific method does not predict the future. It only verifies the past.

You have to have models to predict the future. Most modeling is performed on computers.

It’s not just Gore. There’s a whole cartel of Gore-like parasites sucking on the blood of the human race. Their extremely sharp carbon-credit fangs are hollowed out for maximum blood flow.

I wish I was a political cartoonist, I would draw the picture of them I have in my head.

"NASA might beat them too it with their plan to “fix” the Yellowstone volcano."

Their plan is to pump water into the caldera, cooling it down....however he process might trigger an eruption not mention an earthquake or -quakes. Obviously man doesn't know what he is talking about when proselytizing climate change....what the heck does he think messing with something this big is within man's perview?
