I agree. The United States has assumed responsibility by blood and treasury so many imperial/colonial mistakes of former colonial powers such as GB,Spain and France. Isolationism,as President Washington warned and Paul and Buchanan reiterated, is mocked and now impossible. I would also say their Euro-crap caused both world wars. We can't change history but we sure are not learning lessons and paying for others mistakes as we foolishly make our own.

Very true. LBJ did not learn from the mistakes of Korea, and from the French mistakes in Indochina. And George W. Bush did not learn from LBJ’s mistakes.
Which, in my opinion, makes George W. Bush the worst foreign-policy president in U.S. history. LBJ comes in second.
