Yep. Service dogs are for blind people. I'm getting tired of all the "emotional support animal" nonsense.

I suggest you research your state’s service dog laws for vets with PTSD and/or research why a PTSD vet would want one.
We expect our young men and women to go off and fight endless wars and all too often many of these folks find themselves in a life or death situation that leaves their personalities scarred for life. It’s difficult for many to understand that PTSD just does not cause a continuous awake reliving of the stressors that caused PTSD along with terrifying nightmares. But that it causes ones entire personality to be different from others. Many simply cannot bond with another person, but can find friendship with a dog.
For those of you that find this concept just totally stupid, I’m glad for you, for you have obviously been sheltered and are leading a better life than the fellow with the dog.
Now I do agree a little better judgement could have been used in bringing such a large animal into a restaurant, but then again, if a black blind person did such a thing, would the lady have went off?
Yes, service dogs are for blind people. They are also for deaf people, people with seizures and people with PTSD. They are for people with a disability and disability takes many forms.
