Like everything else government does, it starts small and innocuous, with a sweet-sounding name. I don’t care who’s the president. This will happen no matter who’s president.
In 2 years it becomes accepted at all federal agencies.
In 2.1 years it’s used for EBT cards.
In 2.5 years it’s accepted at all state agencies.
In 3 years it’s accepted at Starbucks.
In 5 years it’s accepted at most businesses.
In 6 years your pay is in Fedcoin.
In 6.5 years, your taxes must be paid in Fedcoin.
In 10 years, it becomes mandatory for all transactions, except those of the ruling elite, with penalties ranging from life in prison to death for use of cash.
In 10.005 years everyone finds out that the government has been monitoring all transactions, and will use the information to determine what your salary and taxes will be. They will just take the taxes out of your money. No need to file a tax return. Convenient, eh?

Converges with my huge complaint regarding “national sales tax” (whatever form, FairTax included): once the gov’t legitimizes monitoring of every transaction, they will tax & legislate accordingly.
Ex.:
You go to the grocery store and buy a cold soda on a hot day.
You’re instantly taxed on local, state, & federal level on the purchase. (That’s kinda the point. But then...)
The “nutritional information” being cross referenced with the purchase, you’re taxed extra for purchasing a “health risk” product.
The “nutritional information” being cross referenced with your medical records, you’re found “at risk” of diabetes and your health premium is increased.
Your name being correlated with parking records, you’re found to have not paid a parking ticket and instantly fined accordingly, paid via the card you just purchased with.
Your parking violations being excessive, your driver’s license is revoked and police dispatched to arrest you when you attempt to drive home.
You don’t want to give the gov’t reason to monitor purchases.
In 10.006 years your average publik scrule graduate will thank the fed.gov for the convenience of not having to file tax returns, and for (allegedly) reducing street crime by eliminating cash.
