Nope more Americans than Canadiens.
Lemieux is the minor owner. Hes been a republican in the past, dont know what he is now.
I have to give props to a couple of libs. The majority owner is a big Dem donor, Ron Burkle. He hired Richard Morehouse ex employee of the Clintons who is now team president. Im glad they didnt play politics here. This is the second time theyve said a white house invite would be accepted.
Source? mne had an expanded roster, and might be out of date. In any event, a majority of players are EASILY non-Americans.
The current roster is always listed on the main web page. The Pens have a lot of American players on the roster at any given time (they sign a lot of college players). Yes taken as a whole, the majority of players are non-Americans.
Have you seen a game in the last few years? The game is now wide open with the new rules on two line passes, goalies leaving the crease, and interference penalties Etc. I loved the old smash mouth hockey but this new game is actually better.
Give it a try.
I will check it out.
Snowflakes in Pittsburgh on full meltdown.
Current HD is better than the old standard def days.
Just start watching hockey. Best way to learn it. And of course sometimes watch with a fan so you can ask why. Definitely go to live games - at colleges, kids at the rink. It’s all fun. In my opinion, the most exciting team sport there could be. And even though there is fighting, the kind of takedowns of good players resulting in injury is despised. (Was surprised to see UCLA football players high fiving over tag teaming a head injury on Stanford Saturday)
I started watching when my son played and when we lived across the street from an old IHL team. From that point on, hockey found me. It’s addicting.
I don’t think they need to enlarge the actual puck. I’m fine watching it on a big screen at home. But agreed that the puck can be hard to see on smaller TVs. They can put the down lines on the football field on the screen; why can’t they illuminate the puck on camera the same way? But it would have to be perfect, otherwise I like it better the way it is. What I miss on tv is the line changing. But it’s ok. Still awesome on tv and I still get emotional!
At one point a few seasons ago, Fox Sports SW had the puck looking like a comet with a tail as it slapped around the ice. It was rather comical. I like the glowing idea
