For the second time this week, Westfield State University has been dogged with allegations of racism after a black student reported a hateful note left at her dorm room.
The note, handwritten and containing misspellings and grammatical errors, reads "Black people dont desearve to be 'united.' Your worth nothing!"
The student who found the note posted it on her Facebook page and it immediately began being shared over all corners of the Internet.
It is the second such note reported this week at the university. Another black student circulated a photo on social media this week of a note posted on the student's dorm room door that used a racially offensive term toward the student.
The two incidents has caused the college to react immediately to contain the fallout.
College president Ramon S. Torrecilha issued a statement expressing the disappointment he and many feel about what he called "an uptick in racist, sexist and homophobic incidents."
But he said: "It is important for us to remember that this is how oppression works. When there is an attempt to change the order, pushback will occur and that is what these incidents represent. Know that this does not shake our resolve to change the climate on our campus. We will continue to monitor events, increase the presence of public safety, pursue investigations and build our plan for moving forward." "Clearly, there is more work that needs to be done."
He also announced the college would conduct a planned "Day of Acknowledgement and Listening." There will be two "listening sessions", one from 10 to noon and the other from 1-3 p.m. in the Owl's Nest of Ely Hall.

Translation, this has a 99.9% chance of being a hoax, but white people are racist.
What language in the note, Ebonics?
Ebonics —> Fake
Amazingly, only her fingerprints could be found on the note and it’s in her handwriting from her stationary and pen.
A banana peel/noose/cotton stem alcove display NOTE..!
More clues.
Well, lookie what happened a few days later
And the hoax clock is running.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1.......
Probably fake. These events Normally turn out to be hoaxes.
Question:. What does it say about these allegedly oppressed groups, that they feel the need to perpetrate events such as these, to show how bigoted the world is against then?
What does it say about conservatives/whites, who are allegedly so racist and bigoted, that they are not perpetrating these hateful acts?
My guess is that someone has an exam for which they are unprepared scheduled for Monday.
strange how the person who left it used “black people” and not the N word. Hmmmm.

What do you want to bet that one of the college President’s own employees wrote this, and he knows it?
No, oppression is silencing diverse speech.
False “language”, false note.
They eat their own.
why are they announcing a day of whatever, when they haven’t even decided if the note was a hoax, which 99.96% are?
Talk about pushing agendas. What’s the gpa of the alleged note finder? no friends on campus type? problems at home? problems with her gang?
The “target” probably wrote it.
Hoax, bet the farm.
It bad when you have to generate your own racist attacks. What is this world coming to?
Note to any spoiled brat who wants the world (and reality) to operate *your* way.... all you have to do is make a fake note, start crying over how “offended” you are and be totally brushed up on your bullying skills.
Of course, it helps if you are attending college (or, as we are now calling it, Post High School Daycare and Safespace). You are of course surrounded by many like-dim-minded brats who have been raised with the expectation that you a:get a trophy for showing up (that’s your diploma, stupid) and b: if you cry loud and long enough, you’ll get your way because the (supposed) adults are sick of listening to you.
In case y’all can’t tell, I am so over this group of entitled baby brats. And I’ll bet a nickel that these 2 notes are really just attention getters.
