Nashville Police have identified the suspect of a mass shooting at a church Sunday morning as 25-year-old Emanuel Kidega Samson.
Samson is being charged with murder and multiple counts of attempted murder in the attack that killed one and left at least seven other people injured at the Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, a town just south of Nashville, Tenn.

My younger son has his concealed carry and is part of his church’s security team. He carries during the church service (you can’t tell though) and sits in a strategic place where he can intercept and stop a shooter before they would get to the congregation.

Coincidentally, this incident was just reported on NPR’s morning radio news cast. Not a peep about the perpetrator. Really, not a single detail. Just think if it had been a white guy shooting black churchgoers? Wait . . .

Yes, we are living in trying times and I agree that churches should do what they think best to protect their congregations, including armed security. Makes sense!
I haven't heard if the shooter was an ISIS sympathizer but if I was a betting man, I'd put my bottom dollar on that he was one.
