I thought it was just divisive." WEEI's "Kirk and Callahan" program, was different from how he handled a similar query after the team's 36-33 victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday. At that time, Brady said he didn't want to get into politics while speaking of the love he has for his teammates.

During his radio interview Monday, Brady was asked if he thought Trump had bigger things to worry about than whether a player kneels during the national anthem. After saying he disagreed with Trump's remarks, Brady added, "I just want to support my teammates

Agree. Trump made that point. When the bottom line gets affected, they will do something about it. Trump owned a professional football team for a few years. He understands the market.

The NFL owners understand that over 70% of their employees are black, including some of their biggest stars. They don't want an employee rebellion. On the other hand, notice that none of them so far has hired Kaepernick. And they carefully made it impossible to keep Michael Sam on a roster. Trump has put them between a rock and a hard place. They must decide whether they side with the anti-American, BLM crowd over the feelings of the majority of their fans who don't want the flag and anthem disrespected.

The MSM is fully behind the players for a variety of reasons. The television networks have a pecuniary interest in keeping the NFL ratings high because of the revenue generated and the enormous sums they have paid to get the broadcasting rights. The MSM anti-Trump crowd want to use it as a club against Trump calling him a racist. It is just another way to increase the polarization of the country. Who would have ever thought that someone like Lebron James could get away with calling the President a "bum"?

I predict that the NFL owners will convene at some point to find a solution to the problem. The longer this goes on, the worse it is for them.
