Early in his reign (I can’t remember when) Hussein doubled all Federal salaries; again, this is from my recall. This must have been the reason - keep all the ingrates in government by making outside employment a step down in take-home pay.
He needs to quit and run for the Senate in Montana. We need that seat, and he could win.
Yup. Or at the very least have a contract for each government employee that automatically expires at the end of each Presidential Administration (or stagger it to a month afterwards, so as not to be left without employees at the start). Getting rid of the bennies that come with it are paramount and ludicrously expensive retirement plans. Working for the government should be a sacrifice for a limited period of time. Instead, armies of bureaucrats go there to get filthy rich at the expense of the taxpayers.
How does that square with the fact that 90 plus percent of fed govt employees voted for that treasonous corrupt harpy?

Back in the late 1800s, the U.S.Civil Service was created for non-policy staffing of the U.S.Government bureaucracy. The change-over of Administrations caused significant disruption as unknowledeable people took their places every 4 to 8 years.
Now it is the opposite case, too many are protected from firing (remember that GSA guy several years ago?) and the majority of them are ideologically inclined towards Statism and the LEFT. This is the SWAMP and draining it will take more than even the best of Presidents!

I would point out that a government employee does not take an oath to be loyal to the President. The oath is loyalty to the Constitution.
