Myth number one: pro football is indispensable.
Myth number two: The protests were over player unity and an their support of free speech (unity to what, support BLM’s ridicules posturing; freedom of personal expression carefully controlled heretofore by the NFL?)
The whole “Unity” thing was meant as an “F You” to Trump voters.
One thing that is not a myth is our right to boycott, protest, free speech, etc. We can let them know what we think.
The NFL is losing fans. I think they’re going to end up realizing is that it will take many years to get some of them back and some will be lost forever.
