Your point is excellent, though. They think of it as a mostly black league, but it’s mostly whites footing the bill.
Oh I know he is out, but pretty sure he is not the only player who thinks that way. That thought process goes a long way to explain why they are doing what they are doing. They think they don’t need white people, at all.
