Pence is just following orders from Trump.

Trump has followed through on only two of his immigration campaign promises - he is rounding up and deporting criminal immigrants, and he is harassing Sanctuary Cities.

Which is good, because Hillary would have never done that.

However, eleven months after being elected president:

The Wall has barely begun.

DACA was not revoked by Executive Order on his first day.

Universal E-Verify is rarely discussed, except as a token compromise for giving Amnesty to the DACAs.

Obama admitted an average of 75,000 refugees for 8 years. Trump is wildly cheered for reducing that 55,000 in fiscal 2017, plus 10,000 fewer Muslims.

Obama averaged 1.1 million LEGAL immigrants for 8 years. Trump will admit about 1.0 million LEGAL immigrants in 2017. And chain migration is undiminished.

H-1B foreign workers and low skill foreign workers for Trump in 2017 will be roughly the same as Obama in 2016.

I will vote to reelect Trump in 2020.

But, in 2021, Trump will grant some kind of legal status to all DACAs and to all illegal immigrants who have not committed felonies.
