Giants receiver Odell Beckham’s crude celebration last weekend cost him $12,154 in the form of a fine from the NFL, according to multiple reports.
That’s the standard fine amount for a celebration that the NFL deems to have crossed the line. Beckham’s teammate Evan Engram was docked the same amount for his Week 2 crotch-grab, as was Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree for an overzealous Key & Peele-inspired hip thrust.
Beckham’s celebration—mimicking a urinating dog—drew a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct. He said later it was intended as a dig at Donald Trump’s comments about “son of a b----” NFL players.

So the NFL strictly enforces rules against imitating a dog peeing, but will not enforce its own rules regarding the national anthem.

Seriously doubt Beckham was giving a “black power” salute. He also took a fine from the NFL for wearing shoes honoring police and first responders for their actions on 911.
That’s like fining me a nickle, who cares.
...unless the punishments increase for each repetition of the incidents of unsportsmanlike conduct. If he was suspended for a few games, he would be more likely to stop acting like such an @sshole.
What recourse does an owner have for egregious conduct by a ghetto POS like this guy? I would think there would be something in the contract that would give the owner more leverage.
