ISIS has been claiming "credit" for just about every mass murder on American and European soil. By doing so, they trick people into believing that they are much larger, more powerful, and influential organization than they really are. Whether or not Paddock really was a convert to Islam and a believer in the jihad cause, I doubt that ISIS had anything to do with this (just as ISIS didn't mastermind the Orlando shooting).

The concert, I believe, had been sold out for months. This is why the victim list will include a wide geographic area. Moreover, this would have necessitated blocks of hotel rooms dedicated to these concertgoers very close to the venue.
I’m wondering how someone could have secured a room so close to the venue, under these circumstances, without a lot of planning ahead of time. Some stories suggest this scumbag was using two rooms, but we don’t know this yet.
A young lady I work with attends a bunch of these weekend long concerts that are common in LV. And I sure am worried about her right now.

I think you may be right. What about the woman who said another woman told her ‘you’re all going to die tonight’ about 45 minutes before the shooting? The ‘authorities’ and the media are going to have to work overtime to sweep all the inconvenient facts under the rug.
