Don’t believe this without confirmation. The guy does NOT look like a potential convert to Islam. He looks more like a Jimmy Buffett “Parrot Head” - a boozer and frequent Vegas visitor. Possibly just a short-fused loser mad about the breakup with the girlfriend.
Then they should be able to present evidence. Remember that ISIS does not see it as accepting guilt. They see it as bragging their success.
Someone posted online that perhaps the terrorists invaded this guy’s hotel room, killed him, then did the shootings themselves. Who knows. Maybe the Indonesian girlfriend set him up. I don’t know.

I’m new to this story. I just woke up. What happened to the shooter? Is he in custody, dead? Did he jump out the window? What is the broken window with the curtains waving in the wind in the skyscraper? The news says nothing about what is going on with the shooter?
Folks I think we should follow the 24-hour rule here. All reports within the first 24 hours of incidents like this should be greeted with great skepticism. We’ll learn soon enough.

Anything planned as well as this tyrant planned it, would have covered his tracks, his true purpose in doing it, beforehand.
I think he was Antifa. This is the sort of thing they have been planning. What better place to take out the “fascist” enemy than at a country music event.
On one hand, no ISIS aren’t very truth oriented people. On the other hand “the authorities” act very quickly to try and push real jihadis under the rug. It’s going to be a race to uncover whether he really did convert to Islam before the evidence gets buried.
