Was it a video version of a manifesto .... video suicide note? Was it to provide proof of performing the Takbir for ISIS? Heck ... Was he connected by video to somebody else?

But why would the authorities “fear” any kind of retaliation by the masses? No reason to - the sheeple are well under control in this area.
