Or you could just do it like I do with one of the many sites that do it for you. I’m running Linux Mint with a Firefox browser. It’s nearly like Windoze 7.

Get yourself an old computer, you might have one in the closet or you might find one 8-16 years old in a garage sale for $50.Don't need to go to that trouble. There a numerous youtube downloaders. Also, you can do screen captures with software. I like Allavsoft. You just draw a rectangle around the video you want to copy and let it rip. If it's on your screen, this will copy it.

Thanks I’ll check it out, but I will admit I had a hard time getting Linux Mint to work as I didnt have a CD drive and it wouldn’t boot from USB.
