LAS VEGAS -- FBI agents questioned the Las Vegas gunman's girlfriend on Wednesday as they struggled to get inside the mind of Stephen Paddock, a frustratingly opaque figure who carried out his high-rise massacre without leaving the plain-sight clues often found after major acts of bloodshed.
Three days after Paddock gunned down 59 people, Marilou Danley was interviewed at the FBI's office in Los Angeles and had her attorney with her, according to a law enforcement official who was not authorized to discuss the case publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

They need to ask her how she met Geary Danley, who their mutual acquaintances were (and are) and what her whereabouts were every day after separating from him up until the day she was apprehended in the Philippines.

The only reason we don’t know the motive is the feds haven’t released the information.
Given they tried to hide the motive of the Orlando killer by censoring his 911 calls, I have a suspicion.

yes i agree and this article paints this woman to be some nice little saint who would’ve stopped this if she knew, when in reality she was shady as hell with her multiple SSNs and aliases...married to two men at the same time.
Not that it makes her violent but she’s not someone who would be above lying or covering up to officials.
No one, even a mental case is going to put this much forethought and planning into this, without a motive. Even if their perceived motive was imaginary and the reason they did it was just twisted...There still has to be a reason/motive as to why the suspect did it, even if it's based in a mentally ill fog.
So I'm guessing that they already know. It seems like they're trying to discover something more...but I can't imagine what.
Except I've already said that my gut says...he had a best bud killed by one of OUR guns from the Fast & Furious fiasco.
They can’t confiscate it just because it came from him....unless it is dirty....and I doubt that.
He had two separate rooms in the hotel — a large suite and a regular room adjacent to it. I wouldn’t be shocked if he had two different check-in dates for the two rooms. That might explain some of the confusion here.
