Taiwanese electronics giant Foxconn plans to build an LCD panel manufacturing facility in the southeastern Wisconsin village of Mount Pleasant, local officials announced Wednesday.
The announcement comes just a few weeks after Gov. Scott Walker signed into law a $3 billion incentive package for the company, on track to be the largest subsidy to a foreign company in U.S. history.

Trump has already reduced government regulations at clip faster than Reagan did and against Soros’ and democrat funded lawsuits to stop every one. This is why the economy is doing great now.

And the first step in place to commence robotic assembly of Apple iPhones....and other similar products IN THE USA.
Think about it ...the screen that you see in a smart phone is a big part of the cost of the phone
Rest is a few complex chips (made by Intel)...battery and case.
The MAGA is strong with this one.
Although true that much of the iPhone is done overseas, there are many components of the iPhone already done here in the USA. Corning is a major supplier of the glass. Many of the chips in the iPhone are designed and made here in the USA. Apple has nearly two-thirds of their worldwide employees working here in the USA. Can't be said of other smart phone makers. Foxconn building here will increase the USA-content of iPhones, way beyond other popular smart phones.
It’s a subsidy when the tax cuts are available only to Foxconn.
We spent $3 bil going down this rat hole in NYS.
Aside from my objections to the crony capitalism, I have one other problem with it: It. Does. Not Work.
