Can’t find the article/blog I read earlier, but it asserts the left is turning on Weinstein to make an example of him, to show other leftists how they can be destroyed if they don’t pony up enough cash for liberal causes.
Weinstein, in his mea culpa, essentially says he is sorry and will direct his attention to unseating Trump, and will fund additional leftist pet-project movies, etc. That is, he is responding to the nature of his guilt...not the harassment, but the money flow.
If he coughs up enough $$$, all will be forgiven by the left, but the message will have been sent.
