Lady Gaga is the latest celebrity weighing in on the aftermath of the Las Vegas massacre by blaming lawmakers (aka Republicans) for not passing more gun control. Yoo-hoo Lady G, no law would have prevented the slaughter because the alleged suspect passed all federal laws purchasing his legal guns. Here’s a tip which I give freely (as someone who loathes guns and is not a member of the NRA): if you hear anyone urging Congress to pass more gun controls immediately, consider that person mentally deficient. That advice will be coming from celebrities, the media and politicians who probably all have armed security to protect them.

I would offer this observation. Within ten years, various laser and sonic type weapons will be possibly built by various garage-scientists and this whole worry about guns will be marginal compared to the next level of technology.

I had a nice discussion with a neighbor who leans left. She was ranting about how we need more gun laws, etc. I asked her if she thought making certain types of guns a felony to posses was what she was hoping for. She said definitely. I asked her if she thought possessing a rifle should get more or less than a handgun and other questions she kept taking the bait. I then said well that really worked well in the drug war. I mockingly told her to look how no one is using drugs any more and how great it was to enact all those laws because it completely stopped everyone from possessing drugs. She just stopped and after a long pause said that she never thought of that. Liberals, always emoting but never thinking.
Notice mr. predator used the “I came of age in the 60’s and 70’s ‘excuse’” for his behavior? Well, me too but somehow I was able to maintain a straight moral compass. Ya think people have know this for years? Yeah. So, who did harvey piss off?
The left HATE the police and they hate small government, BUT they want us to give up our guns to the government and the police so THEY can protect us all? WTH?!?!?
