The latest in a string of saber-rattling announcements between the U.S. and Russia saw Moscow claiming it was within its rights to restrict the operations of U.S. media.
Russian officials have accused Washington of unfairly targeting the U.S. operations of RT, a Kremlin-funded broadcaster accused by some critics of interfering in domestic U.S. politics, according to a report from Reuters.
We have never used Russian law in relation to foreign correspondents as a lever of pressure, or censorship, or some kind of political influence, never, Maria Zakharova, the Foreign Ministrys spokeswoman said in an interview with Russias NTV broadcaster. But this is a particular case.

Don’t do it because we may ban RT which gives better news by far. Except for their bull shit on climate change which is meant to egg on our democrat idiots. They don’t believe it themselves.

Without a hint of comedy or irony, the guest said that Russia tries to interfere in the elections of us and other nations. Said it with a straight face I tell ya.
Apparently that’s something only WE are allowed to do.
And they take the Palestinian “side” of things, when it comes to Israel. At least a few of their shows that I’ve caught.
Not at all surprising. Why should the government of Russia or of any country want their citizens to be subjected to lies and fake news from the U.S. media?
