The Knesset's Special Committee for the Rights of the Child will hold a meeting on alienating children from their parents - but will only invite women's organizations to take part.
The meeting will be held in another six weeks. It will discuss the involvement of authorities in divorce crises for the children's sake, and how to deal with parental alienation.
Participants will include Israel's Education Ministry; the Labor, Social Affairs, and Social Services Ministry; the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel; the Legal Aid Department; court management; Israel Psychological Associatoin; Bar Ilan University's Rackman Center; the women's organizations Naamat, WIZO, and Emunah; and others.
Most alienated parents are fathers, since mothers automatically receive custody of all children under age six. If even one child is under six years of age, the mother will receive automatic custody of all the siblings in case of divorce.

At least fatherhood rights groups have a six-week notice of the hearing, and can crash it to be heard.

I guess to Progs, MEN are evil, no matter where they live. I am the other side of the coin. I LOVE men, especially my husband and son. No wonder so many Prog women are alone.

I am against abortion. That being said, as long as it is still legal here, I believe that the ‘baby daddy’ should have some say in the matter. The baby is HALF HIS. No, they shouldn’t ‘split the baby’, but the sperm donor should have a say, if he wants to keep the child. Yeah, the Feminists don’t like me anymore........
I have a solution for all this broken family nonsense. 1) No marriage, no father rights. He has no legal right to see the kid and no financial obligation. 2) Get rid of no fault divorce. If a man runs off with another woman, it will cost him. If the woman does the same it will cost her. Such behavior will affect custody. Baseless allegations of wrong doing that can’t be proved will be tossed. 3) Women are equal to men. They’ve been graduating in greater numbers than men for some time now. Axe alimony.
If you do that, all this other crap about doing things without fathers involved will go away.
Actually, if you do that most of the problems with this country will go away. Add one more and you’ve solved all our problems 4) Abolish all social welfare. Since that may be too tough to pass, as an interim 4a) Social/ subsidized programs (housing, food, welfare and medical) will only pay for up to one child... after that you are on your own.
Really, so dads can’t provide love? How about if the mom a nutcase, like my ex (No, not Mrs. DeplorableAmerican)?
Israel is not an islamic hellhole. Not even close. Other than that ... Most Americans would probably not like living there.
I dated an Israeli a lifetime ago. He was lots of fun and I would someday enjoy visiting there. But no, I have no desire to live there. After living in Britain for 1+ years, I was so happy to be back here and would never want to live in any other country.
