The Dems are threatening to shut down the government if they don’t get DACA. If the same poll asked U.S. citizens, are you willing to shut down the government if we don’t change the law so that children brought here illegally are given legal status, what kind of response would THAT get? Trump is daring them to pick the wrong hill to die on.
AP should rephrase the question. “Are you willing to let 780,000 hardened MS-13 gang members stay here in order to show leniency to 20,000 who were carried here as babes-in-arms?”
