Funny, I was thinking the same thing. I have liberal relatives who graduated from Kent State in 1969 and we haven’t talked about the election at all. I was thinking about what I would say to them about my support for Trump and the biggest thing that came to mind was that I now understood how they felt in the 60’s, just that the shoe is on the other foot. THEY’RE the establishment and we are the insurgents.
And the Left has NO IDEA how to handle this. Except to try the same tactics against us that was used against African-Americans’s in the early to mid 60’s. Suppress and play to the worst fears of those in power. And they will surely lose just like those who were over the top against civil rights back then.
I have to admit I am enjoying immensely all of the Trump insurgency, and that is how we should market ourselves. We won’t win all the battles, we have to put up with a few things that make us cringe, but we get to have all the fun this time around.
