If you really want to know how bad the Democratic bench is in terms of candidates and role models, just look at this Cosmopolitan piece about Wendy Davis and what she did after her devastating and catastrophic loss to Republican Greg Abbott—sorry, Gov. Abbott.
She went to Costa Rica, drank margaritas with her family, but she said the loss hurt. At the same time, she goes on about how 2014 was not really an indicator concerning whether Texas was trending blue, and she lamented on how her filibuster of a late-term abortion bill allowed Republicans to label her “abortion Barbie.” She felt that really didn’t represent her, despite that fact that to enter the American progressive club you must be pro-abortion—and not just pro-abortion, but for government subsidies of it with no limits and no apologies. Late term abortion is already deeply unpopular and 20-weeks bans on abortions are popular—60 percent of American women support them.

2018 election won’t be about abortion and women’s rights. That will go on the back burners as leftists are losing ground to nationalism.
Antifa needs to be dismantled before the 2020 elections. We’ll see what they do in 2018. BLM needs to be co-opted by a more gentle law abiding black nationalists. They do exist, but only in proportion to successful black businessmen and businesswomen — the ones that have recognized that the so-called ‘white privilege’ is really the privilege of success.

And she lost in a landslide, by damn near 20 points as I recall. Suddenly she was persona-non-grata. She disappeared from the news shows faster than bell bottoms and Disco. But the democrats were correct about one thing. Wendy Davis "victory" certainly foreshadowed Hillary Clinton's fate in 2016...
Let's hope the dems waste $30 or so Million on her campaign like they did with Jack assOFF here in Georgia.
I guess getting beaten badly in the race for governor didn’t wake her up.
