Nazi movement was fascist, that is, military spending to keep the "great depression" economy from collapse.

Still, The Confederates were not fascist either.

Very confusing.

It may have more to do with 21st century drug use, than anything of a historic nature.

Obviously, the South was not made up of Socialists, but the civil war was the last time that the Democrats threw a full on tantrum and would not accept the outcome of a national election. The parallel between Nazis and Democrats these days is very clear. The Democrats are socialists; they obviously do not believe in our representative form of government; they are fascists who do not believe people who have a different point of view should be able to express themselves. Look at all the Democrats who believe that their opponents who demand scientific scrutiny on “global warming” should be jailed are executed.

So as off base as this nut ball actually is... the confederate flag was the flag of Democrats. The Democrats are the ones who supported slavery and were willing to accept the death of a large portion of the population to preserve the institution. And many modern Democrats are very much like Nazis.
