‘He threw a fit’

What did he do, turn over the tables of the moneylenders and go after them with a whip?

We haven't had a man in the White House since Dwight Eisenhower. So these young people don't know what to do when confronted with one.

“He threw a fit,” said one person familiar with the meeting.

Not even AT the meeting, but FAMILIAR with it.

Lord. How do the members of the News Misleadia not slit their throats whenever they catch their reflection in a mirror.

They have no reflections?

Read the article.

Actually, I did read the article. I often think about how we so strongly denounce the Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, etc. for publishing fake news, but when they publish an article casting members of the administration in a negative light, we immediately jump on it as near gospel. There is an old saying that a lie can get around the world before the truth can get out the door. Just because someone at the Washington Post tells us that there is dissension, doesn't make it true.

President Trump is a strong leader but he is not the sole repository of wisdom. As with any president, he needs people who will challenge him, who will present him with information, options, alternatives and most of all, people who will not wilt in the glare of his forceful personality. He is the boss and I suspect he, as well as those who work with him, are all aware of that fact. No one goes into the Oval Office without invitation and they don't stay if they are not wanted.

You make some very good points.

The media are not to be trusted.

But why are aides undermining Trump and asking him to recommend the “Iran deal” be certified despite the obvious problems?

The important details of the Iran deal is that Iran gave money to North Kores to test missiles for Iran's nuclear bomb program.

That is the key point.

Obama-mess works to give money Iran, Iran gives money to North Korea.

People in Japan and South Korea are TERRIFIED of what the FAT BOY is up to.

Mattis hates Iran’s Hezbollah. 1/8 Beirut Marines. Don’t underestimate his logic and tactics in getting them. This “leak” could be a diversion, trap, or psy-op.

10/10/2017 “US officials warn of potential Hezbollah threat to US homeland”

“While I’m not here today to speak publicly about any specific, or credible, or imminent threat to the homeland,” National Counterterrorism Center Director Nicholas Rasmussen told reporters, “we in the intelligence community do in fact see continued activity on behalf of Hezbollah here inside the homeland.”

“There appears to be NOBODY that this President can rely on.”

I read he has few close friends so when he was campaigning and said he knew great people, who were they? Just a pet peeve that irked me then and I doubt even more now.

I have not been in a meeting where a recommendation on the Iran deal was discussed but I am certain the author of this report was not either. If an advisor actually made such recommendation, I do not know if he was playing devils advocate or had some other reason. I am fairly certain, however that both he and the president knew who would be making the final decision. Again, this president is not some shrinking violet who needs to be defended from his staff

News Misleadia - perfect term for what Travis McGee calls American Pravda, way beyond dinosaur or old media. I hope it catches on.
