I cut school to watch this game and as a Yankee fan, I was devastated.
I grew up a little north of Forbes Field. Cut school and listened and watched part of it. Especially the end. Truly incredible game. All time greats abound in this. Stengel, Mantle, Maris, Berra, Clemente, Murtaugh.
