As I see it, there are four categories of women who may come forward.

1. Women who were basically raped and have physical and/or long term damage to their psyche.
2. Women who were harassed with threats of career death and fearfully acquiesced and suffer tremendous regret.
3. Women who willingly participated in the casting couch to advance themselves but know they are stigmatized. For them, this is an opportunity to cleanse themselves of the stigma but becoming a victim.
4. Feminists who think everything is harassment or sexism. The type who says you are patriarchy scum for holding a door for them.

The first two are victims of terrible behavior and potentially crimes. The second two would be mercenaries taking advantage of a situation to advance some agenda. The problem with Hollywood is that undoubtedly there are countless women who are real victims so no matter how many mercenaries pop up they can never discredit them. Everyone will be believed.

I say this because when I read this story, it seems to me that this women is in that fourth bin. She basically says that every single male on the show harassed her in some way. Is it more likely that everyone harassed her or that she's a snowflake who sees harassment in every interaction with men? Well, there's no way to know and in light of the situation in Hollywood now she'll and anyone else who piles on is going to get the benefit of the doubt. If Clooney is innocent (some think he's gay) then he still has no way he can defend himself in this environment. It will dog him.

And I'm okay with that because they all knew what was going on, even if they didn't participate. They ALL knew. So they are all culpable of aiding and abetting the crimes against the women (and kinds) in those first two groups.

I’m sorry, but I can’t work up much sympathy for any person in Hollywood - male or female. It is its own vile cesspool subculture. They should erect a cage around the place and they can all act like the animals they are. I respect people who have “real jobs”. Gotta be something wrong with people who aspire to be actors. JMHO.

Except Tom Selleck, of course! ;)
