Five years ago at the Democratic National Convention, I went to a Planned Parenthood rally, where one speaker was TV actress Lisa Edelstein.
Do not go to the polls alone, she told us. Drag somebody, if shes a woman especially, because those women are going to vote for Obamaif they know whats good for them.
Edelstein is hardly the only Hollywood figure to make the case that liberal policies are crucial to womens happiness and welfare. Yet, with the media still reeling from the revelations about powerful Hollywood producer Harvey Weinsteins behavior toward women, its time to examine both the people promoting that worldviewand the worldview itself.
The Edelstein episode stayed with me because, as an avid fan of House, I was especially devastated to see the actress who had played the tough, smart Dr. Lisa Cuddy promote the nations largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood. That organization is now fighting in Ohio against a law banning abortions done on the basis of gender. In other words, the oh-so-feminist Planned Parenthood is OK with the termination of pregnancy just because the child is a girl.
Yet Edelstein is far from alone in her support from Planned Parenthood. At the Academy Awards this year, actresses Emma Stone (who would win Best Actress that night) and Dakota Johnson both displayed Planned Parenthood pins. I stand with Planned Parenthood because Planned Parenthood stands up for me, said Scarlett Johansson in a 2015 video.

Feminism...talk about appopriation.
Truth of feminism:
Once upon a time in America, women had served as Governors, Senators, Members of Congress. Women owned businesses and some were worth millions of dollars. Women were doctors, lawyers, scientists and professors. Women were notable authors, painters, sculptors and musicians.
Men generally revered women. Women were respected and placed a bit of a pedestal. Women had a special place in the home and in our culture. They were not crude like men. They were better and they made men better because of it. Women civilized men.
And then feminism happened.
And now we have Miley Cyrus, Lena Dunham, Rosie O’Donnell and that woman at work who bitches about everything and tells raunchy stories about her drinking escapades and how she got her new tattoo.
Thanks feminism. Thanks a lot.
Maybe they support Planned Parenthood because the father might have been Harvey Weinstein?
Its not just Hollywood. Its the music industry too.
Feminism has everything to do with politics ans power and money and nothing to do with women’s rights or dignity other than for propaganda to promote the politics and the power.
It is the Entertainment Industry. In any organization where men can make or break a young woman’s and sometimes a young man’s future of wealth and celebrity.
It must be that the SJW stuff is just a distraction to try to divert attention away from the really obvious stuff, like Weinsteining.
They just kicked him out of the Academy, and have issued a statement that this crap ends today.... right, sure, uh-huh
This must be why film and music stinks so bad. No actual artist is going to be able to work in a place where there is zero integrity.
Women do not civilize men.
Fatherhood civilizes men.
Feminism, as a rejection of accountability for women, is a product of the false claim that women are morally superior.
Repeatedly.
Nuke her and Soros from orbit ...
Feminism was and will never be about “equality” or advocating for REAL solutions for womankind. It’s a shame. All of these
“isms” and snowflake labels are pure anti-American garbage from extremely naïve and insecure people..
Feel free! I certainly stole the meme image.
You might want to acquaint yourself with "urban statistics" to disabuse yourself of that notion.
It is not considered “fatherhood” to procreate and abandon.
Many actresses have had abortions. I think many did so for a role or were pressured by a studio or producer.
