Most of us despised Obama and yet in the worst of times we were never THIS crazy.

Of course the Right wasn't THIS crazy when Obama was president. That's because we're badly handicapped in the crazy race.

Rubin is a big Leftie (that lady is no more a conservative columnist for the Fish Wrap Post, than the man in the moon is) and we all know liberals start out with a big lead in the crazy category. So her comments had a big head start coming from a big liberal talking head and anti-Trump hater.

These people are just talking to their own choir and surmising amongst their like-minded colleagues about how smart they are to have figured out how to get rid of Trump at every turn of this presidency that they don't like. Not realizing that nothing has come close to working yet and that none of this means anything because it's all just talk.

They've been trying to get rid of him since he was elected fair and square (like they are the arbitrators of who should be president and shouldn't) almost a year ago but nothing's worked out for them. Recounts. Bribe the Electoral College voters. Protest, riot and disrupt his offices and businesses. Accuse him and his team of colluding with the Russians. Send a special prosecutor after him. Make Hurricane Maria destroying Puerto Rico his Katrina. Impeach him....for what? Now it's this 25th Amendment hope and a prayer, Hail Mary pass, that they think will finally be their salvation. Trump's done. This time. Maybe.

Trump is doing exactly what I voted for Trump to do...to drain the swamp and get rid of some of the slimy critters up there in DC. And while he's at it, unburden the US economy of thousands upon thousands of unnecessary regulations totaling billions in additional costs to American businesses, that penalizes business rather than giving them plenty of leash to be successful.

What we want Trump to do is going to be ugly compared to traditional standards in DC. But isn't that the point? We wouldn't be getting any of the results we wanted from any other candidate. Who? Yeb Bush? He would have wet his under britches so many times already that he'd been better off buying stock in Fruit of the Loom. Any of those other GOP candidates last year would be falling in line and "the beat goes on", as the song says. Nothing would change. Same old, same old, with the can being kicked down the road on everything like it was before Trump.

Now Trump is saying, "Pick up the can, throw it in the garbage and lets fix the problems." The can kickers don't like that.

Instead of this being a prize fight with Ali dancing like a butterfly, this is definitely a street brawl, more along the lines of Tyson biting off a chunk of Hollander's ear. Doing what Trump is doing is not going to be easy or pretty but it never was meant to be that way anyway. We just needed the right guy to pull it off.

Well, I think my rant has gotten out of hand and taking on a mind of it's own, so time to edit and post.
