. . . by editors like those at Yahoo, who are illiterate, even in slang. In a culture where everyone gets a participation award, maybe they didn't grasp that there is a real-world difference between wizard-like intelligence and simply knowing how to pee.

And while “whiz” has been used to mean someone so smart, his mind zooms past everyone else’s, a “whizzer” was always a “pisser,” as far as I know. No one goes into the woods to take a “wiz,” and “whizz” by itself is strictly . . . urinary.

No. Whizz is an alternative spelling of whiz in all its definitions and slang usages.
