A new study reveals that bias response team administrators struggle to do their jobs while still respecting students’ First Amendment rights.

University of North Carolina-Charlotte professor Ryan Miller, et.al conducted interviews with 21 bias response team administrators, finding that many of them suffer difficulty “balancing free speech and the creation of an inclusive campus.”

Money quote:

An administrator named Kelly, for example, suggested that when the the expression of individual rights is “reckless and irresponsible…that’s when a bias response team can be most effective.”

These Bias teams would bne right at home in Communist countries. For example, Soviet Union Constitutions supposedly guaranteed freedom of speech but there wad a IF clause: The leading and guiding force of the Soviet society and the nucleus of its political system, of all state organisations and public organisations, is the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The CPSU exists for the people and serves the people. [Article 6 of 1977 Constitution of Soviet Union]

Hmmmm......free speech is in the Bill of Rights and “inclusivity” is not, any yet the PC thought police need to be sent in when some dares to state their mind freely. Sort of sounds like Mao's Cultural Revolution.

Our friends on the left decry bullying & uncivil speech, but they are the biggest bullies & the most uncivil in public discourse.

Every child should be taught first by their parents & then by their teachers to be respectful, & speak respectfully to others. If these habits weren’t inculcated early, they’re not going to be changed in college. These bias teams are nothing more than political thugs, going after those they disagree with.

What is “inclusivity”?

I can’t seem to find it in the constitution. I know the free speech part is there, though.

Sometimes it occurs to me that these people will be in government in about 5 to 10 years, and we may fall into conflict with each other...

“What is “inclusivity”?”

Whatever they want it to be.

Generally speaking, no whites, no males, no Christians.

(And certainly no evil Joooos.)

“Inclusivity” is the biggest pile of crap delivered by the Left to date. We are “inclusive” because the Constitution requires equal treatment under the law, although a separate discussion will be required on that. We are “inclusive” because All of the constitution applies to ALL of our citizens. Any additional attempt at a meaning had better be discussing how to be polite in society, not how to align your legal team to attack everyone you disagree with.
