Dana Loesch, familiar face of Second Amendment activism, says she’s been driven from her home, forced to move, because lunatics on the left have threatened — repeatedly — to harm her.
“One guy hunted down my private cell phone number, called when police were here, threatened to shoot me in my front yard,” the National Rifle Association spokesperson tweeted over the weekend, as noted by Fox News.
Another tweet: “Another guy created a string of social media accounts, posted photos of my house, threatened to rape me to death.”
Oh, how nice. This is the fringe left — the same that thinks it’s OK to express political disappointments with a baseball ball and Molotov cocktail. Loesch’s final straw?
They went after her kids.
“Another gun control advocate,” she tweeted, “after threatening to hunt me down and assault me, dragged my kids into it. … I’m grateful that my kids’ school worked with law enforcement and private security to ensure campus safety, and work with me.”
So she’s moving — packing her belongings and relocating.

As the author points out, "The same left that’s supposed to stand for social justice and women’s equality has taken a woman who stands for nothing more than the right of self-defense — a constitutional right, no less — and treated her as the enemy."
Shameful, but typical.
Now people on the right play victims. Are there any strong people out there anymore?

Fine it’s a matter for police. Public whining is not a good look for the right.
A similar situation happened to Michelle Malkin a few years ago. She had to relocate to a different part of the country. She wasn’t silent about it.
The venal scum on the left need to be exposed.
One would think the leader of the social media companies would be on top of who was using their product to threaten Americans..................
Wait, they agree with the people making the threats.
It’s not “whining” to make sure everyone knows exactly what the Party of Tolerance stands for: brutality, hatred, and intimidation.
When someone tries to burn you out, the best firehose is an AK-47.
CW2 will not be a war between the States but one between the Left and Conservatism.
They’re progressives. By definition, they don’t mind these threats. By definition, they don’t care about people.
You should think before you post. She was publicly threatened including murder, rape and her kids harmed. The public should know that some on left are very serious about harming those that oppose them. I think she is courageous.
She moved to Dallas because of her Beck connections. Maybe now she is just moving to be better located for her new gig as spokesperson for the NRA. What a golden opportunity to call out the tolerant left because I’m sure she will get the same threats no matter where she goes.
She’s not leaving Dallas. She still has her TV show. (And her radio program.) Who knows if she’ll be on her show tonight.
And the NRA gig isn’t new.
What the hell do YOU expect her to do?
I’m not her biggest fan and lost a lot of respect over her Beck-fueled NeverTrumping, but she is a VERY effective spokesman for the NRA and is certainly what you’d call a “strong” person. But she also has a family and kids - how many threats and sleepless nights would YOU take before taking action on your own rather than whining about it?
She’s not “playing victim”, as I read it she IS a victim. Maybe you could try a bit of empathy.
Thanks for the update. Since I turned off anything from The Blaze when he started telling us how we had to care for the kids dumped at the border. Not seeing her since she started to do the NRA things . . .
You won’t find a single Democrat who thinks there is anything wrong with this.
She says a few Democrats hve reached out to her privately. As far as I know, none has condemned it publicly.
