until Jim Comey’s letterThis woman is a congenital liar. Comey's late October announcement about the additional emails and then the subsequent announcement a few days later 'clearing' her helped her, just like he did in his July press conference announcing that she had broken no laws in mishandling government information and destroying evidence.
FBI HQ was publicly silent on the additional emails found on Weiner's laptop, and told the lower-ranking FBI agents to just keep studying the situation to drag it out past the election.
The NYPD and the NY FBI field office were leaking to reporters that they had found these emails back at the beginning of October, forcing Comey to go public and then mount a round-the-clock 'review' of the emails in order to 'clear' her.
