Interesting from CNN.
Gosh, maybe I’m just tired but I didn’t read this as anti-Trump or was it? Almost sounded objective and it’s CNN. Better go to bed now.
They accurately assess Paul Ryans snowflakiness.
A liberal, with no original ideas, not a leader, believing that he is above the rest of the minions, believes that everyone wants to be like him, thinks he needs to be the mother to all of us, that all we really need is hug from him, and that everyone wants to follow him.
He does not see that he is despised, and that the people are disgusted with his effeminate attitude towards the rest of the people.
You see St. Pauli Girl Ryan thinks he can pull one over on the base.
The article says:
“One has to wonder at the cluelessness of leaders who didn’t realize that this outreach to “other” identities would impress the base as just more identity politics with a benign sheen.”
And....
“For their own leaders to adopt this liberal idiom is more than the people who ended up in Trump’s camp could stand. It’s been infuriating. The Republican establishment assumed that it could talk the liberal social talk, but still push conservative economic policy. Ryan thinks that inclusive means “not being racist and sexist,” that’s all. But the disaffected voters hear something else: an assault on the limits and distinctions that give structure and meaning to their lives.”
Outstanding piece. Author gets it.
“The ones who voted for Trump and now back Bannon’s agenda don’t want to hear anything more about niceness. Why play ball with people who despise us?”
The money quote:
“You won’t compromise your church’s doctrine and accept same-sex marriage? You’re not inclusive. You shy away from transgender bathroom rules? You’re not inclusive. You want to reduce immigration because you think it lowers your wages? You’re not inclusive.”
Inclusive is an Orwellian weasel word.It means only what the left wants it to mean. Like “racism” which means ONLY white acism and NEVER black racism and race hatred of whites which is virulent, widespread, and violent per the interracial violent crime stats.
Bump
And for the record, I am sure many FR-ers will agree we don't agree with Bannon, he agrees with us.
Again I say, we will have 20 new faces in the Senate and a lot of them will be because of Steve Bannon. Menendez, McCain and Thad, well they are other stories, not that they can't be capitalized on....
I think he is a guest author. I doubt any of the meatheads from CNN could come up with something so logical.
