No. Northern Virginia controls statewide politics, and it’s packed so tightly with ethnics, illegals, and Democrats that the state is now blue. A gopE RINO such as Gillespie has no chance.
Admittedly I have never paid attention to Northam but am definitely ‘afraid’ if he gets in along with Herring, that gun BS will surface again.
ICYF- Herring had ruled most ALL reciprocity laws for VA were not good and - naturally - the states retaliated by ‘cancelling’ their reciprocity agreements with VA.
It got voted down and ousted but took about 6 months or so and I believe the ONLY reason Mcawful didn’t throw in with Herring is because he had national aspirations.
Anyway, with Northam he speaks in a ‘slow drawl common to the Va ‘hills’....he is from that part of the state BUT I feel it sounds phony but I do not know what his ‘regular’ voice sounds like...

Three counties in NoVA (Fairfax, Prince William, Loudon) essentially rule the state. Add in Richmond and a couple of chunks around Norfolk.... trust me, nothing about coal is going to turn Virginia red again.
