With the level of affirmative action I would be very nervous relying on and RSA products. I say this as an RSA expat. RSA has become as if Puerto Rico, Chicago, Detroit and Berkley were your kids teachers. PR would teach infrastructure and debt management, Chicago would teach crime control, Detroit would teach economic development and Berkley would teach politics. It is a mess. A serious mess. It is going down the same road as Rhodesia/Zimbabwe.
So who is South Africa afraid of, Madagascar?
Conspiracy theory du jour: SA is going to allow Russia or other communist countries or Iran to have military bases there which would make it possible to stop all shipping lanes traffic around the Cape of Good Hope from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean and vice-versa.
Just a thought.
Mebbe long since terminated, but SA used to be pretty tight with Israel. Could have been cheaper to buy their proven missiles rather than develop their own AMRAAM.
So when do they attack Botswana?
