Get as grip. Those jobs did not leave overnight and they won’t return overnight either, especially with the tax cuts not enacted yet and that is not Trumps fault as we all should know. That is the key driver of anything really significant happening to move the scale. Modify that with the trade policies already being changed one at a time.

Trump should sell the tariff as a way to “pay for tax cuts”. Even though that is BS it just might work.

I don’t know.

Sounds like an excuse to do nothing.

We have done nothing for over one entire generation. Bring the jobs back to America.

I think there is a segment of Americans who have been selling out America for a long, long time.

All the way back to the first President Bush. I don’t think he was, but everyone since has been selling out. Both parties. Everyone.

Nope. I think there are a LOT of people who are good and ready now, for things to be done differently.

Those who have been selling out America, aren’t, of course. But they are the problem.

“Sounds like an excuse to do nothing.”

If you are looking for it to be anything like the old, better just throw that away with the realities of how far technology has changed things. Those who did not take heed to “Adapt and overcome” will be those who will flounder, but there will always be opportunities for those who are willing to get on the train.

With automation, nothing happens without hands, eyes and brains getting it going and keeping it going. Just as the buggy whip tanners, horse shoe forgers and wagon wheel carpenters had to adapt and overcome, so will the exceptional attitude of Americans will do the same.

Everything, in every single store in America.

Coast to coast. Every hardware store. Every Walmart. Every Target. Every K-Mart. Every nickle and dime place everywhere. Every auto place. Every single store.

In every town. Every state.

EVERYWHERE. Is now made in China.

I know, not literally “everything”, but close enough to be a shock anymore. And always getting even worse.

It is time for Trump to do something about this gigantic mess.

He’s making progress by trimming regulations and directing regulatory agencies as to how to behave with the rules that remain. That is a great first move he can do administratively. And it has helped.

Still not buying this number, what’s the U6 rate? I didn’t buy it when El DuceII was in office.

I have to wonder if they are still using Obama’s really dishonest methods of calculating these numbers. If so, this is meaningless.

Well they’re engineers, middle aged white men. I’ve been looking to change jobs myself and I am not having much success. It is still a tough job market.
