It doesn’t take much to adjust someone’s life to “No Football”. Trips to the park with the kids. Wife wants to go sight seeing. Lots of new things to do.

This empty stadium is brought to you by the NFL, proud sponsor of Black Lives Matter.

Idiots are best ignored.

The more Pres. Trump and VP Pence but in the worse it will get. Spoiled children do the opposite of what they’re told.

Idiots are best ignored..

The team owners are fools if they think that giving in to the players will protect them from problems later on.

Sooner or later, but mostly likely at the next big opportunity-the next Collective Bargaining Agreement, the players will try to take over the league. They will demand part ownership.

Then, they will demand full ownership.

They will demand part ownership.

NFLPA UNION has tried this since 1987 strike.
Not happening.

I am glad he is keeping it front and center.

Trump is not losing this. The NFL is.

The NFL has basically tripled down too, what with now siding with BLM over prison sentences.

As the NFL continues to slide, it becomes more obvious folks aren’t buying in.

Let them act like spoiled children. It’s not going un-noticed.

Of course the NFL (Negro Felon League) supports Black Lives Matter. At some point their players may be facing a policeman with a gun!

As long as attendance is not in the pits and TV Viewership is still decent
The Romans want their circuses more than supporting Trump

NFL football is done as far as I’m concerned. Even if they decide to honor the flag, never reverse my feelings.

Rush’s point that this is a win-win either way for the Left is accurate.

Watch NFL and BLM has a tractable audience.
Don’t watch NFL and football loses status as a national icon.

The fact that one disgronified halfwig - a lower-rent Bobo - has literally destroyed 1/3rd of a $70B business, with the permission of (some) of the business investors ... I'm at a loss for words frankly ... Half the owners literally do not get what is at stake ... The other half are frightened of being called racist ...

But what must be done, must be done.

In the past decade, the League pushed the price of admittance outside the border of maybe half (or more!) of any Trump voter.

Meanwhile, the NFL 'solves' the problem by hiring scumbags like Clinton fellow(ater) Joe Lockhart to run NFL Communications.

Meanwhile, the NFL 'solves' the problem by creating 'diversituh' VP positions for fatazz past players and plain-dumb problem makers.

Meanwhile, Goodell swings on a string while owners like Klein do a lot of backstage handrubbing and harrumping for Roger to bury this schizz quick, while a handful of Bobo-stylin' owners and of course the Players Union say we gon do what we wants.

For FReepers, the only solution is to get rid of ANY direct NFL funding like "NFL Ticket", NFL merch, any package you can live without that has the NFL (and really if you haven't cut cable, you're not alive). Also divert any funds, any MF/ETF/401k, that support the NFL, and redeploy those assets.

"Don’t watch NFL and football loses status as a national icon."

I disagree with Rush to the extent that I don't think that is a win for the Left. You're basically telling non-edgy crackers that want to root for, let's say, the Seahawks (a lot of crackers in those Seahawk seats) to get f*cked.

You get a Bernie bro slash Seahawk fan pushed out of his comfort zone, and you have a non-vote (or ever better, a Trump vote) if the opposition [Cankles] is anything less strident than Bernie.

Additionally, these coders are not capable of compartmentalizing their benign disgust, or their privilege, or their soft racism! "I had seven shirts no starch and you've ruined all of them" LOFL

Rush, like many, is addicted to football.

We have plenty of other national icons. When something like football commits suicide, that’s sad. But the world (and the country) goes on without it.

Football has sucked up too many tax dollars (stadiums) for the benefit of the few (owners, networks, politicians). The amount of corruption involved in football is staggering. Rush is willing to look the other way because it’s corruption that supports something he likes. I won’t miss it.
