Originally, the word was “Dallas.”
The reason was the movie cam out just after JFK’s assassination...

I remember reading about that. I also read that when Slim Pickens (Major Kong) first showed up on the set, he had cowboy clothes on (cowboy hat, cowboy boots, etc.). The other actors were very impressed because Pickens had showed up in character.
They didn’t know it, but that was the way Slim Pickens always dressed!
