White House Rips Sherrod Brown’s ‘Outrageous and Slanderous’ White Supremacist Slams...
Washington Free Beacon ^ | 10/22/17 | David Rutz

Posted on 10/22/2017 5:42:29 PM PDT by markomalley

The White House slammed Sen. Sherrod Brown (D., Ohio) Sunday for calling adviser Stephen Miller and former strategist Steve Bannon white supremacists, saying his comments were "outrageous and slanderous."

Brown was asked on CNN's "State of the Union" if he agreed with comments made by Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson (Fla.) alleging the White House is "full of white supremacists." Wilson has been embroiled in a feud with the Trump administration this week after she revealed details of a phone call President Donald Trump made to a military widow from her district.

"I agree that Steve Bannon is a white supremacist, and Stephen Miller seems to be, and I know that studies have shown that they have their allies sprinkled around the White House," Brown said.

In a statement, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Brown's remarks indicted Ohio voters after they "overwhelmingly voted for the President's agenda." Trump won Ohio convincingly over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, one of several states Barack Obama won in his elections that Trump flipped to red.

"Senator Brown’s comments are outrageous and slanderous," Sanders said. "The nonstop name calling from the left continues to show an inability to build consensus and fix the problems ailing hardworking Americans."

"Senator Brown needs to understand that when he calls out public servants who are part of the Trump Administration, he is indicting the voters in Ohio themselves who overwhelmingly voted for the President’s agenda," she added. "Instead of performing theatre for the extreme left fringe, his time would be better spent fighting for everyday people by supporting the Trump Agenda of pro-worker trade and immigration policies that will raise wages and living standards for all Americans."

As senior policy adviser, Miller has strong influence on the Trump administration's tough immigration stances. Bannon, who was fired in August and served as chairman of conservative Breitbart News, has rejected being labeled a "white nationalist," saying he's simply a "economic nationalist."

Despite his strong rhetoric, Brown has signaled willingness to work with Trump on tax reform.

Brown is just showing his white privilege. And, he’s culturally appropriating.

Sherrod Brown is almost the picture definition of democrat hack. He has never held a real job his entire life, choosing to find ways to suck for the taxpayers for his entire career. Not worth taking seriously.

“Republicans had 10 months to wipe these mofos’ leftist agenda from the face of the Earth and have failed miserably.“

That tells me they are either incompetent or they support it. I don’t think they are incompetent.

They keep thinking up new words to call us... Call it what it is... childish and grade school tactics. Getting a rise lets them know it works and use it again and again. Throw it back at them with something that would get a rise out of the other side.. low life has no more to say than to call names.

I like the old saying “don’t let them see you sweat”. Don’t let them think they have found something that works.. something that will hit the news .. something that will give them another day/week talking about it ... they don’t have much to work with... lets not help them find something new.... don’t let them think they have a bite that works on this side of the equation.

**Wilson has been embroiled in a feud with the Trump administration this week after she revealed details of a phone call President Donald Trump made to a military widow from her district.**

That should have been written like this:

Wilson, who is not a fan of President Trump, secretly listened in on a private conversation between the President with the widow of a serviceman killed in action. Rep Wilson then went to the press with her side of what she said she heard in that private conversation and painted a picture that was not the truth.

“Is The Democratic Party Proud of its History of Slavery & Segregation?”

https://www.redstate.com/dan_mclaughlin/2014/09/13/democratic-party-proud-history-slavery-segregation/

At least four other Democratic presidents between then and the Civil War owned slaves, and the Democrats were the locus of national political support for slavery throughout that period.

The Civil War was launched by Democrats who refused to accept the election in 1860 of an anti-slavery Republican president, for a variety of reasons but mainly due to slavery.

Democrats reasserted control of Southern politics at the end of Reconstruction through a heavy application of terrorism by the Klu Klux Klan (in Mississippi in the 1870s, they basically murdered anyone suspected of voting Republican).

For nearly a century after that, the supporters of Jim Crow were uniformly lockstep Democrats, many of them progressives – Woodrow Wilson, the only former citizen of the Confederacy to serve as President and the first progressive Democrat, introduced segregation throughout the federal government, and Franklin Roosevelt regularly received as high as 95% of the vote in Southern states.

The 1924 Democratic Convention, in the race against the arch-conservative, pro-civil-rights reform Calvin Coolidge, was popularly known as the “Klanbake” for the heavy and vocal KKK presence; their nominee that year would go on to argue the losing, pro-segregation side in Brown v. Board of Education.

And that’s before we discuss the federal role in housing discrimination, instituted by a New Deal agency in the 1930s and finally undone by Republican Richard Nixon and his HUD secretary George Romney in the late 60s.

Or the Davis-Bacon Act… The politicians who fought for segregation in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s were uniformly Democrats like George Wallace (who won his last election in 1982, as a Democrat), Orval Faubus and Strom Thurmond (who left the Democrats when he gave up supporting segregation).

Former KKK members in national life included Democratic Senator and Supreme Court Justice (appointed by FDR) Hugo Black, who sat on the Court until the 1970s, and Senator Robert Byrd, who was still in the Senate until his death in Barack Obama’s second year in office.

“Watch: “Democrats were the party of slavery””

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/234242

Fox News’ Jesse Watters wants people to remember that the Democratic party supported slavery. ‘Confederate war heroes were all Democrats.’

Fox News contributor Jesse Watters wants the public to remember that most of the Confederate war heroes were in fact, members of the Democratic Party. Today, that same Party is demanding that statues of Confederate leaders be removed.

“Let’s remember that all of these Confederate war heroes were Democrats,” said Waters, “Maybe the Democratic Party wants us to take down these statues so we can forget that it was the Democrats who supported enslaving black people.”

“I think that many on the left want to destroy any historical monuments of great American leaders,” Waters continued. “A bust of Abraham Lincoln in Chicago was torched. He was the one that freed the slaves.”
