The Guardian quoting a Yale survey. Any resemblance to reality would be purely coincidental.

Now that’s funny right there. I don’t know of a single person who would support this. Unless Yale asked the question like this: Would you be willing to pay a bit more each month to improve air quality for seniors and children?
But who the heck would support a “carbon tax”? Maybe a few unemployed coffee shop liberals. But that’s about it.

Says Who?
Americans don’t even believe that carbon dioxide is a dangerous pollutant or they would stop breathing.

Americans are willing to pay a carbon tax that would increase their household energy bills by $15 per month, or about 15%, on average.
Let's see ... Electricity in the deep south with AC, $200/month over course of a year. Hot water and gas furnace, $60/month on average. Fuel for the cars, about $250/month for a family of five. That doesn't count inflation from trucked in merchandise, a near 15% increase in plane fares, and higher costs for services from Uber to pizza delivery. A LOT ore than $15/month.

No one ever asks where the carbon tax goes.
The globalists want to establish a revenue stream for the U.N.
Ask the people again, would you accept a tax to be paid to the U.N.?

Another recent Yale survey found that overall, 78% of registered American voters support taxing and/or regulating carbon pollution, including 67% of Republicans and 60% of conservative Republicans.
Try out your poll numbers by running pro-carbon tax Republicans in the primaries. Steyer would fund them.
