as with Daniel K. Inoyue
The part that I’ve always found fascinating was the fact that very few real heros thought of themselves as “heros.”
That was political, this was not.
Trump has a love and respect for our wonderful military I don’t think any President since Washington can match.
There is so much behind the scenes, no-publicity, stuff he did before he became President than he has never sought any attention for.
Meanwhile, I have a US Senator who lied about serving in Vietnam to help his political career. Thanks idiotic CT voters.
Excellent. I worked for a guy who was awarded the Medal of Honor for action in Korea, and spoke with another. Both were in action around Chosin Reservoir. Bad stuff.
As for quiet ops in Laos, I briefly worked with a guy who had been CIA in Laos and another who had done something. Met both of them when I was working to resettle refugees from Laos in 1979/80.
Anyone interested in covert action in Laos should read Stories From the Secret War - CIA Special Ops in Laos by Terrence Burke. He gave me a copy of his book and it is good. Hopefully I’ll meet up with him soon.
Thanks LeoWindhorse.

Dad was a combat medic in Korea. To this day I’ve never heard him speak a word about it.
Agreed 1000%...
