I’ve said for years that most Republicans and others have been notified that they had better toe the line or their families will be taken out.

McCain I believe is up to his ears in this scandal. He knew about this dossier from the git go. I think he was setting himself up (as the maverick) to deliver this document to the FBI so he’d look like a non captured hero by saving us from Trump but it ended up being a big dud.

McCain is not alone in this on the R side. It may explain why he’s been, along with others, lashing out. This scandal could end up being a huge deal when all the players are exposed. The US Senate is a huge swamp protecting the corrupt actors on both side of the aisle. There was no way the Senate was going to allow any Clinton or Obama or their subordinates be charged or convicted. They’re afraid of how their followers would respond, but maybe the wall is starting to crumble.

I would like to agree with you but so far the President and certainly not his AG gave done a single thing to do justice here. Congressiinal vommittees which have little power to punish, see AG Holder, are carrying the liadand they can be brushed aside as partisan. So before we praise the President, let’s wait for him and/or his administration actually do something.

It said they funded ‘research,’ which implies that it wasn’t made up. If they were just doing research, there are no grounds to lock her up, even if the research turned out to be wrong, so long as Hillary and the DNC didn’t knowingly commit fraud. This is spin, not revelation. Politicians do opposition research all the time.
